Lindsey Denmark performs Anthem
In civilian patriotic service, Lindsey Denmark performed the National Anthem at Cecil Field on the National Day of Prayer, May 7, 2006. She said: “Moments like these remind me how blessed I am to live in this country and how important it is to pray for our families, schools and nation. I believe it’s important that civics is a priority in our schools so the next generation understands the principles our nation was founded upon. I feel our children should learn the value of patriotism, personal responsibility, and respect for the men who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep America free. I’m committed to serving our students, supporting our teachers, and ensuring that parents have a strong voice in education.”
Thank you to the many informed voters who turned out to meet Lindsey Denmark and hear about her priorities for Duval County Schools, parents, teachers and taxpayers. Special thanks to Michael Moody for hosting the kick-off at his beautiful Westside venue, The Barn at Maple. The campaign also extends deep gratitude to Clerk of Court Jody Phillips and School Board Member Charlotte Joyce for their warm hospitality at the event, and valuable service to local families and voters who will elect a new School Board member on August 18, 2026.
